Mark was born and raised in Gainesville before moving to Jacksonville to attend the University of North Florida. He made Chets his church home as a college student and served as an intern before joining the staff in July 2010. Mark has a master's degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

In his current role, Mark oversees our Adult LifeGroups and other ministries to help adults connect to our church family and grow in their faith. He previously served as our Pastor of Connections and Events; Minister of Communications; and Minister to College and Young Adults.

Mark and his wife, Laura, were married in 2014 and have two children.
