Mark was born and raised in Gainesville before moving to Jacksonville to attend the University of North Florida. He made Chets his church home as a college student and served as an intern before joining the ministry staff in July 2010. Mark has a master's degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

In his current role, Mark leads our Adult LifeGroups and other ministries to help adults connect to our church family and grow in their faith. He previously served in a number of different areas, including guest services, special events, communications, and college + young adult ministry.

Mark and his wife, Laura, were married in 2014 and they have two children. They are licensed foster parents and enjoy leading our church’s Foster + Adoptive Parent Support Group.
