We’ve all been in circumstances that cause our minds to spin with thoughts that are unproductive, destructive, and harmful. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and wonder why we keep falling into the same thought patterns. WOMEN’S GROUP: EPHESIANS - A STUDY OF FAITH AND PRACTICE
Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:30am
January 21 to March 4
Hodges Campus - A Wing, Room A187
Leader: Heidi Rall

Who am I? The question of identity is always in the back of our minds, and it’s currently at the forefront of social conversations. But the first question we need to ask is: Who is God? Then we can begin to consider, and who am I in light of who He is? In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul describes God as a merciful and forgiving Father who unites us in Christ and empowers us to live by the Spirit. We’re adopted children and fellow citizens with the saints because of God’s loving pursuit on our behalf. This study will help us understand the riches of our inheritance as daughters of our heavenly Father, as well as what it means to walk in a manner worthy of our calling. We will watch the authors discuss the verses, modeling for us how to talk through scriptures with our friends.

January 29 to March 5
Hodges Campus - B Wing, Room B214

Prayer is a gift – an invitation to talk to with God. But prayer can also be a challenge. Do you have trouble thinking of words to say, fear some emotions are too intense to express to God, or reach the end of a day only to realize you haven’t prayed at all? You’re not alone. Thankfully, in God’s Word we encounter many voices who teach us to pray. You’ll find that when you pray, your faith is strengthened, and your heart is united to Jesus. Each week we will watch a teaching video from one of the authors and have a brief discussion time. Let’s start the new year with a goal to enhance our prayer life!

January 29 to March 12
Hodges Campus - B Wing, Room B216
Leader: Doni Walker-Jackson

Where there's a lack of trust, there's a lack of peace. Broken trust can send us spiraling: Can anyone really be trusted? What if distrust is actually the wisest choice to make? What do I do with my doubts about God when He allows bad things to happen? Are there biblical answers for any of this? Lysa TerKeurst understands this kind of deep wrestling and has asked these same hard questions in the midst of her own relational heartbreaks and uncontrollable circumstances. Come find out how you can live well and step into the future without stumbling over trust issues. You will use both the book and study guide.

The world has become a confusing place. Every day we are confronted with cloudy moral issues that once seemed clear. When did the simple things get so complicated? A respected pastor and Bible teacher, Dr. Warren Wiersbe takes an insightful look at the fundamentals for a life well lived. Return to the beginning and discover life-changing truths about relationships, faith, sin, and spiritual fulfillment. Because in life, the key to a happy ending is found at the beginning.

February 12 to April 9
Southside Campus - Ministry Building
Leader: David Moore

Has it ever dawned on you that nothing has ever dawned on God? He knew before the world began that His people would face hardship, so He gave us His Word. The Book of Ephesians is a survival manual—it equips believers to thrive in a world that hates the message of Jesus Christ. Paul the Apostle writes to encourage believers to live well—we've been lifted from the graveyard of sin and called to shout the gospel into the darkened world. Pastor and author J.D. Greear walks through the powerful words of Paul and challenges believers to live out the gospel.

MEN’S GROUP: PSALM 23
Thursdays at 7:00am

Many people are familiar with Psalm 23. But because we all know it, we often breeze through the psalm without slowing down long enough to rest in the assurance it offers. In this 6-part series on Psalm 23, pastor Matt Chandler introduces us to the great shepherd, the Lord, who promises to provide for every need of his flock. Though only six verses long, this psalm teaches us profound truths about our loving and protective God. By studying Psalm 23, we’ll encounter a life-transforming question: Do you trust the Lord to care for your needs?
